This subject introduces pupils to the business world, empowering them to develop as commercially minded and enterprising individuals.
Pupils are given the opportunity through the study of this subject to develop a wide range of skills, enabling them to use business information critically, to develop arguments, to make justified decisions and to prepare them for further study and career pathways.
The main focus of our Business Studies lessons is to introduce and nurture pupil's enthusiasm for studying business in a range of contexts.
At Key Stage 4, pupils may select to study Business Studies as one of their GCSE options. As part of this choice pupils can either select to study GCSE Business Studies or a level 1/2 award in Business Retail.
